Made from Stainless Steel Type 17-7 PH with a 0.25-mm wire thickness (0.01 inch), the spring provides a free length of 2.82 mm (0.111 inch) and compresses to a working height of 1.78 mm (0.07 inch) with a solid height of 1.02 mm (0.04 inch). The spring delivers a spring rate of 28.81 N/mm (164.502 lb/inch) with a nominal load of 30 N (6.744 lb) through its 2.5 waves per turn configuration and 0.81 -mm radial wall (0.032 inch).
