Lee Spring LE 037DE 10S is a precision extension spring from the Standard Extension Series (inch), engineered for applications requiring reliable quality extension springs. This spring features a 0.438-inch outside diameter (11.13 mm) with 0.364-inch loop inside diameter (9.25 mm) and extends from a free length of 2.75 inch (69.85 mm) to a maximum extended length of 9.35 inch (237.49 mm). Made from Stainless Steel with a 0.037-inch wire diameter (0.94 mm), the spring delivers a spring rate of 0.62 lb/inch (0.109 N/mm) through its 55.1 total coils with an initial tension of 0.4581 lb (2.038 N). The spring supports a maximum load of 4.5815 lb (20.38 N) at full extension with a body length of 2.022 inch (51.36 mm). The spring features Random loop position and Passivate per ASTM A967 finish for optimal performance.

Extension Springs: Standard Series

The Lee Spring Standard Extension Spring Series includes a wide range of size and rate combinations and in both inch and metric sizes. Standard Series springs are available in Music Wire, Type 302 Stainless Steel and Type 316 Stainless Steel. Metric Series springs are available in Music Wire and Type 302 Stainless Steel. The Music Wire springs are provided with a plating finish for light corrosion resistance. The Type 302 Stainless Steel springs are passivated, while Type 316 Stainless Steel springs are passivated and ultrasonically cleaned.

Lee Spring's Stock Extension Springs are supplied with full diameter loops (either to machine or crossover center style) at a random position with the exception of Metric Extension Springs which are specified to meet DIN Standards. Loop openings are approximately one wire diameter and the direction of wind is factory optional.
