Lee Spring EI 014C 02 M is a precision extension spring from the Instrument Extension Series (inch) series, engineered for applications requiring reliable quality extension springs. This spring features a 0.109-inch outside diameter (2.77 mm) with 0.081-inch loop inside diameter (2.06 mm) and extends from a free length of 0.438 inch (11.13 mm) to a maximum extended length of 0.813 inch (20.65 mm). Made from Music Wire with a 0.014-inch wire diameter (0.36 mm), the spring delivers a spring rate of 3.559 lb/inch (0.623 N/mm) through its 18.7 total coils with an initial tension of 0.13 lb (0.578 N). The spring supports a maximum load of 1.463 lb (6.508 N) at full extension with a body length of 0.275 inch (6.99 mm). The spring features Random loop position and Pre-coated with Tin finish for optimal performance.

The Lee Spring Extension Spring Instrument Series includes a wide range of size and rate combinations in a smaller, highly precise spring design. Selections are sorted in ascending order based on outside diameter. Instrument Series Extension Springs are available in both inch and metric sizes. Sizes range from outside diameters from .063" up to .157" and free lengths from .250" to 1.181". Inch Series springs are available in Music Wire, Type 302 Stainless Steel and Type 316 Stainless Steel. Metric Series springs are available in Music Wire and Type 302 Stainless Steel. The Music Wire springs are made from coated wire or provided with a plating finish for light corrosion resistance. The Type 302 Stainless Steel springs are passivated, while Type 316 Stainless Steel springs are passivated and ultrasonically cleaned.
