Heavy Duty Compression Springs

Lee Spring LHL 500A 12 is a heavy-duty die compression spring from the HEFTY™ Die Spring series, specifically engineered for demanding industrial applications requiring durabiliy and substantial load capacity. This spring features an 0.466-inch outside diameter (11.84 mm) with a 0.5-inch hole diameter (12.7 mm) and extends to a free length of 7.5 inch (190.5 mm), making it ideal for stamping and die applications. Made from Music Wire with a 0.07-inch wire diameter (1.78 mm), the spring delivers a spring rate of 11 lb/inch (1.926 N/mm) through its 52.72 active coils out of 54.72 total coils, with Factory Option wind for predictable deflection behavior. The spring compresses to a solid height of 3.68 inch (93.47 mm) while supporting a maximum load of 42 lb (186.83 N) at full compression. The spring has Squared and Ground ends and a Gray Powder Coat finish for optimal die spring performance.
